Introduction

The iBeam 8140 is a highly integrated shallow water multibeam echosounding system. It features a high-precision inertial navigation system and surface sound velocity sensor integrated within the 400kHz acoustic transducer, eliminating the need for installation calibration of roll and pitch. The compact and portable transducer enables easy installation while delivering high-precision bathymetric measurements that comply with IHO Special Order standards and the "Water Transport Engineering Survey Specifications". With a depth measurement range of 0.5-180m, the system is widely applicable across multiple industries including dredging, waterway surveying, hydraulic engineering, and geological surveys.
